Update on 4th Amendments to the Chinese Patent Law

Event Information

Date(s) - 04/29/2021
7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Join WIPLA as we continue our trip around the world and move on to current issues of Chinese Patent Law.

Hui Wang, partner at Foundin Intellectual Property in Beijing, will be joining us and provide an update on the 4th amendments to the Chinese Patent Law. The 4th amendments were announced in October, after years of discussions, and include a number of important changes. In addition to multiple changes that make the Chinese Patent Law more favorable to patentees, the 4th amendments affect patent term extension, punitive damages and partial discovery procedures.

Due to the time difference between the Midwest and the China, please note that this webinar will take place at 7:00pm Central. We hope you are able to enjoy dinner, grab a nightcap or cozy up in your pajamas while we learn about these important changes in China.

We will be requesting 1 hour of CLE in both Wisconsin and Minnesota.
